We offer eBook formatting to outside authors as a fee-based service. 

Our formatter specializes in making eBooks accessible to all readers with the following features:

• Alt-text image descriptions

• Optimized for dark mode

• Condensed file size without loss to look & style

• In-text hyperlinks for glossary terms

• Semantic HTML, including clickable table of contents to optimize for text-to-speech

• E-reader control of font & font size while still maintaining genre-appropriate, polished feel. (This can include all-caps & small-caps lead-ins, bolded lead-ins, deep drop chapter opens, centered chapter titles, and no-indent first paragraphs.)

We utilize Microsoft Word, Calibre and Sigil to produce eBooks. All accessibility features are verified through ACE by Daisy and metadata listing accessibility features is added.

We do not format children's books or heavily illustrated works. Our skillset is a better fit for primarily text-based works and we emphasize eReader compatibility by allowing for text to flow.

Base pricing is $50 for books up to 75,000 words. Longer works or more complex projects may increase the price.

Final files are provided in EPUB, PDF, and DOCX and are appropriate for publishing on a variety of retailer platforms as well as direct sales.

We also offer paperback formatting to outside authors. Our formatter specializes in making print books that fit industry conventions and convey genre and professionalism.
